Your right to compensation under EU 261/2004
Regulation EU 261/2004 is on your side — if your flight is delayed, cancelled, or you face denied boarding, you can be entitled to up to €600. The rule makes sure your rights as a passenger aren’t ignored and that you’re paid fairly.
Emirates Airlines compensation for a delayed flight
If you flew with Emirates Airlines and your flight is delayed by more than three hours, you can be entitled to compensation. Fill in the form on our site and we handle the rest — paperwork and communicating with the airline included.
Emirates Airlines compensation for a cancelled flight
If your flight was cancelled less than 14 days before departure, you’re entitled to compensation.
How much compensation am I entitled to?
| Flight distance | Compensation per passenger |
|---|---|
| Up to 1,500 km | €250 |
| 1,500–3,500 km | €400 |
| Over 3,500 km (e.g. London – Dubai) | €600 |
If your trip has multiple segments and a delay on one leg makes you miss a connecting flight, you can be entitled to compensation for that too.
When you’re not entitled
You’re not entitled when:
- The trouble was caused by extraordinary circumstances (bad weather, strike).
- The airline tells you about the cancellation more than 14 days before departure.
- They offer rerouting that gets you to your destination with minimal delay.
